The sixth farm produce fair is scheduled to be held at the Go Vap Flower Village Park in Go Vap District from June 29 to July 3.
It will have around 200 booths set up by more than 100 exhibitors from 17 cities and provinces, including HCM City, Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Long An, Tien Giang, Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
It will have nine areas for displaying works created from fruits, orchids, bonsai, processed farm produce, handicrafts and products made in traditional villages, fruits, the city’s achievements in bio-technology and hi-tech agriculture, and food.
The event is aimed at enabling farmers to introduce and promote trading of their products.
It will also be a platform for farmers to exchange experiences, access new information and technologies in the agricultural sector and develop linkages between farmers and distributors.
The fair will be organised by the HCM City Farmers Association and Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development and Industry and Trade. — VNS
