HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The 8th International Exhibition on Shipbuilding, Marine Technology and Transportation (Vietship 2016) will take place from February 24-26, 2016, in the capital, the event's organising board has announced.
Vietship, the largest expo on shipbuilding, marine technology and transportation in Viet Nam, presents a good opportunity for enterprises to share experiences, update to advanced technologies and seek investment opportunities as part of efforts to accelerate the development of global and domestic shipbuilding industries.
A workshop will also be held to discuss policies and development strategies for the shipbuilding industry with the participation of regulators and policy makers, experts and international and domestic enterprises operating in the sector, the board said.
The forthcoming event is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors.
The previous expo, Vietship 2014, attracted 200 stalls from more than 110 companies, including those from nations with large marine industries, such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore and
China, as well as the Netherlands, Poland, Finland and Norway. Other leading marine nations such as France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Australia also participated in the exhibition. — VNS
