HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Forty local companies have displayed their products at a fair in Bac Lieu Province as part of a programme promoting Vietnamese-made goods in rural areas.
The fair, in the coastal district of Dong Hai, showcased food, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, textiles, household utensils, cosmetics, stationery and other products.
The fair, which end yesterday, would also include donations of gifts to needy students and the poor, and a seminar on preventing Early Mortality Syndrome that affects shrimp.
The fair will then move to Phuoc Long District, another coastal district in the province from August 12-14, with similar activities and a seminar on providing farmers with rice-shrimp farming techniques.
The fair was organised by the Business Study and Assistance Centre and the Bac Lieu Department of Industry and Trade .— VNS
