Vietnamese enterprises to seek business opportunities in UK

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnamese enterprises, attending the Trade and Investment Promotion Programme to be held in the United Kingdom and Scotland from September 8-17, will get business development opportunities.

The event is expected to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experiences and trading opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises. Vietnamese entrepreneurs will have the chance to interact and co-operate with leading entrepreneurs, educators and trade promotion agencies.

The event will include a forum on the Vietnamese economy, trade and investment in the United Kingdom, which is expected to attract 150 enterprises from various fields in that country, a programme to promote trade and investment in Liverpool and meetings with well-known firms in Scotland.

The programme will be hosted by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom, with support from the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, the London financial centre, the Viet Nam-United Kingdom Network, and the Confederation of British Industry, as well as the United Kingdom Trade and Investment Promotion. — VNS
