YouTube has introduced mobile live streaming for those on its platforms that have more than 10,000 subscribers.

Unlike the live streaming features offered by rivals Facebook and Twitter, YouTube Live is now focusing on the video streaming site’s top content creators rather everyone.

The function would be accessible to all YouTube users in the near future, Google, which owns the video-sharing website, said in a press release.

The new feature is built into the YouTube app available on mobile phones, and streamed videos will have all the same features as regular YouTube videos. — VNS
