WinCommerce General Commercial Services Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Masan Group, has opened two WinMart supermarkets in the Mekong Delta region of southwest Viet Nam, raising the number of its supermarkets nationwide to 127.

WinMart Hung Vuong in My Tho City of Tien Giang Povince and WinMart Tran Huynh in Bac Lieu City of Bac Lieu Province are located in Vincom Plaza shopping malls there.

Opening the two new supermarkets is part of WinCommerce's plan to open 60 new WinMart supermarkets in 2022.

Nguyen Thi Phuong, permanent deputy general director of WinCommerce, said “WinMart/WinMart+ operates following five core values: Supplying products meeting the very best of fresh standards, promoting domestic production, protecting domestic distribution systems, bringing Vietnamese goods to the world and actively contributing to the State budget.

“This year, after completing the rebranding, we continue to enhance the opening of new points of sale nationwide to accelerate the building of a Point-Of-Life platform that meets a variety of essential needs of consumers with a seamless experience from offline to online.”

“We are very excited to open the first WinMart in My Tho and open a new supermarket in Bac Lieu. With this step, WCM hopes to contribute to enriching the consumption life of local people, providing quality and “very best of fresh” products to become the ideal shopping place for people in the southwestern region."

To mark their opening, WinMart Hung Vuong and WinMart Tran Huynh are running lucky draw programmes and giving gifts to customers with a total value of up to VND50 million at each point of sale.

Accordingly, when buying essential items, agricultural products, household utensils, and personal and family care products, customers will have the opportunity to receive many attractive gifts.

The retail chain also promotes online sales channels to offer more convenience, safe shopping experiences and quick delivery service to customers.

Accordingly, consumers can place orders online from WinMart on the VinID application, the website, the Lazada e-commerce platform or via the phone numbers of supermarkets and stores nationwide. — VNS
