The 37.240-square-metre centre is located in the Clock Pillar area in Bach Dang Ward, which is considered to be a special architectural feature of Ha Long City and is also one of its central areas.
According to Vingroup, the centre, which will have four storeys, a basement and European royal-style design, will offer visitors various shopping and entertainment services.
The highlight of the centre will be the natural ice rink, spread over 800 square metres, which can accommodate 100 persons at a time. It is also the first-ever ice rink in the northeastern part of Viet Nam.
The children's section, VinKC, will cover more than 3,300 square metres in the centre. It will have a range of shopping chains, an educational consultancy and healthcare services for young customers below the age of 15.
The centre also will include a cineplex of international standard, a fashion section and a hypermarket.
The group said that Vincom Center Ha Long is the firm's first expansion outside Ha Noi and HCM City, adding that it plans to build others in Hai Phong and Da Nang in the future. — VNS
