DA NANG (Biz Hub) — VietJetAir will launch new flights between Ha Noi and Phu Quoc Island on May 28 to deal with the summer rush of passengers, the airline told Bizhub yesterday.

VietJetAir will also increase the frequency of flights on the busiest routes to more than 140 flights per week in summer, which would be equivalent to 25,200 seats every week.

There will be seven weekly return flights between Ha Noi and Phu Quoc. The flight will depart from Ha Noi at 1.10pm and land at 3.40pm in Phu Quoc. Meanwhile, the return flight from Phu Quoc will depart at 4.10pm and arrive at Ha Noi's Noi Bai Airport at 6.40pm.

The airline has also increased the frequency of flights on the busiest routes between HCM City and Ha Noi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hai Phong and Hue.

"To meet summer rush of passengers, VietJet will not only launch new inbound and outbound flights, such as to Singapore, but also increase their frequency. VietJet has recently received new aircraft from Germany. This enables us to implement our plan. Passengers now can enjoy the experience of flying in the new aircraft, which have luxurious leather-furnished seats. Our friendly flight attendants are happy to serve you with nine hot and delicious meals onboard. The passengers will also have a chance to get many wonderful gifts from VietJet," said Director of Business Development of VietJet Desmond Lin.

VietJet currently operates flights on 24 domestic and international routes. — VNS
