Vietjet has increased its capacity by 25,000 seats, equivalent to 120 additional flights in anticipation of the upcoming Việt Nam National Day Holiday from August 31 to September 3.

This move aims to meet the travel demands of citizens and tourists across its domestic and international flight network, Vietjet said in a statement.

With the expected surge in passenger traffic during the Việt Nam National Day peak travel period, Vietjet has also concentrated resources, including additional personnel at airports, to assist people and tourists with check-in procedures and to provide a green flying experience with dedicated service from professional flight crews on modern aircraft.

Additionally, Vietjet has recently launched an automatic flight information notification service via popular messaging apps Zalo and WhatsApp, enhancing convenience for its passengers.

The airline said it has also opened sales on domestic travelling routes to and from major cities such as HCM City, Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng, Nha Trang, Phú Quốc and Huế.

Passengers can book their flights in advance via the official website www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile application, as soon as possible to choose the most suitable flights at reasonable costs for their holidays with family and friends, according to Vietjet.

Vietjet is currently offering promotional tickets starting from as low as zero đồng (exclusive taxes and fees) during its golden hours from noon to 2pm every day.

Additionally, passengers flying on eco class can enjoy free checked baggage and those opting for Business and SkyBoss tickets can receive a 30 per cent discount, applicable to both domestic and international routes, including destinations in Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia.
