Vietjet inaugurated its international route connecting Ha Noi and Singapore on Thursday, a move to meet the increasing travel demand from passengers.

On this occasion, Vietjet provides passengers with a two-day promotion in which tickets on the route are sold from zero dollars until Friday. The airfares are available from noon to 2 pm at www.vietjetair.com with travel period from August 14 to December 31.

The daily flight on Ha Noi-Singapore route lasts two hours 55 minutes per leg. The flight from Ha Noi takes off at 10am (local time) and arrives in Singapore at 1.55pm (local time). The return flight departs at 2.55pm and lands in Ha Noi at 4.50pm.

Singapore remained one of the favourite destinations for Vietnamese tourists. Up to 468,000 Vietnamese travelled Singapore in 2016, up 12 per cent year-on-year, according to Singapore Tourism Board.

Last year also saw over 257,000 Singaporeans visiting Viet Nam, 8.7 per cent higher than 2015, data from the Viet Nam Administration of Tourism showed. – VNS
