HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — VietJet has become the first Vietnamese airline to launch in-flight duty-free shopping service on its international routes to Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand.
On this occasion, the airline will offer a 30 per cent discount on all in-flight goods from July 22 to August 22. The first passengers to buy items from VietJet's in-flight duty-free shop could win some wonderful gifts valued at VND500,000 (just under $30).
"We have always wanted our customers to ‘enjoy flying'. Now they can enjoy shopping with VietJet too!" VietJet business development manager Desmond Lin said.
"We're delighted to be the first Vietnamese airline to introduce an in-flight duty-free service on international flights, and we trust that our passengers will find a variety of high-quality products on offer," he added. — VNS
