Vietjet increases flight frequency for upcoming holidays

HA NOI (Biz Hub) – Vietjet will add another 140 flights until May 4, bringing its total number of daily flights to 246, up 66 per cent against the same period last year.

This move is to meet the high demand during the nation's upcoming holidays, Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1), the airline said in its latest press release.

The airline will increase flights on a number of routes, including HCM City to Da Nang with 14 daily return flights, HCM City to Phu Quoc with seven return flights, Ha Noi to Da Nang with 10 return flights and Ha Noi to Phu Quoc with four return flights.

There will be additional flights on the HCM City-Ha Noi route and on the routes from HCM City to Hue, Vinh, Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa. The Ha Noi to Cam Ranh and Da Lat routes will also get more flights.

Earlier, the airline said it was giving away 15,000 discounted tickets with prices starting at zero dollars. These airfares will be available for booking on April 26-28 from noon to 2pm. — VNS
