The Viet Nam Women’s Union and King Coffee, owned by the Trung Nguyen International Company, are carrying out a programme called 'Women Can Do' to help at least 100,000 women start business.

Part of a 2017-25 national programme called 'Assistance for Women', it seeks to improve the quality of life for at least 100,000 women nationwide by helping them set up a business with a capital of VND5 million (US$215).

They will also be helped with applying technology in their business and trained in financial management and communications to improve their status within the family and in society.

A community of women running start-ups that are part of the food and beverage supply chain will be created. — VNS
