IWG, the world’s leading provider of flexible workspaces has signed a new partnership agreement with SD Group to open two new workspaces in the Long Bien District of Ha Noi.
The new workspaces will offer more than 7,000sq.m of space in a rapidly growing mixed-use development with luxury housing and high-end amenities. The centres are well located close to transport hubs and major highways.
The building will be complete in the first quarter of next year and will be put into operation from the second quarter.
“We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Ha Noi with this latest opening. As an important business hub, Ha Noi is a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal,” said Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of IWG.
“Our opening in Ha Noi comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs,” he added.
The concept of “hybrid working” was not common in Viet Nam for businesses before the time of COVID-19, but now is growing exponentially. The new centre will meet the growing demand for hybrid working solutions with the model particularly popular with businesses.
Nguyen Dang Tuan, SD Group Chairman, said: “The flexible workspace business has been one of the fastest growing industries in the world recently. To enter a rapidly growing market such as the flexible workspace business, choosing a partner who is an industry-leading brand, understands market needs, and owns a sales platform is essential. That’s why we chose IWG to be our partner”.
