As part of this partnership, Standard Chartered donated 40 laptops to the foundation, aligning with the bank’s promise ‘Here For Good’ and reaffirming the bank’s commitment to supporting local communities.
The majority of the laptops have been allocated to talented ethnic minority female students from the Brighter Path Scholarship Phase 2 (2017-24), facilitating their access to quality education and the enhancement of their digital skills. This initiative, led by the VinaCapital Foundation, aims to enhance students’ access to educational resources and improve their digital skills, crucial for success in today’s technology-driven world.

“We are delighted to receive the support of Standard Chartered Bank in our journey”, said Rad Kivette, CEO of VinaCapital Foundation. “Empowering women through knowledge and education lies at the heart of our Brighter Path programme. By providing these laptops, we are equipping the young women with the tools necessary for success, we are investing in both their future and the future of Việt Nam.”
