Samsung Vietnam organised the GSAT (Global Samsung Aptitude Test) recruitment round II - 2023 for Engineers and University graduates (Fresh Staff) at the National Convention Center in Hà Nội on November 19.

GSAT is the Global Samsung Aptitude Test for University level candidates, including three basic sections: "Logical mathematical ability", "Logical reasoning" and "Visual thinking".

This is one of the important rounds in the employee recruitment process of all Samsung Group companies in the world.

Outstanding candidates successfully advancing through the GSAT round will progress to the interview phase scheduled for December 5.

Following this, those demonstrating exceptional performance in the interview round will secure official positions as employees at various Samsung Vietnam branches, including Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT), Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV), Samsung Display Vietnam (SDV), Samsung SDI Vietnam (SDIV), Samsung SDS Vietnam (SDS), and the Samsung Vietnam Research and Development Centre (SRV).

Since 2011, the Fresh Staff Recruitment Programme has evolved into an annual fixture at Samsung Vietnam, specifically tailored for recent or imminent university graduates across all disciplines. The programme aims to cultivate high-calibre resources for research, development, production and business activities within Samsung Vietnam branches.

In this recruitment round, Samsung recruits a variety of majors, including technical, economic and social groups, creating many open job opportunities for students who have graduated or are about to graduate from universities across the country.

The recruitment participation of most Samsung branches in Vietnam this time also shows Samsung's long-term development and investment orientation in Việt Nam.

Previously, in June 2023, Samsung Vietnam organised the GSAT recruitment round I - 2023 and recruited a large number of engineers and university graduates.

Choi Joo Ho, President of Samsung Vietnam, said: “Việt Nam and Samsung have forged a longstanding, trustworthy partnership. Building upon this foundation, Samsung is poised to continue supporting Vietnam in its development journey.

“The recruitment programme reflects Samsung's dedication to enhancing the quality of human resources, aligning with expansion and development plans, and maintaining its status as the largest foreign investor in Việt Nam.”

After 15 years in Vietnam, Samsung has consistently expanded its investment and business activities, boasting six factories, one research and development centre, and one sales entity. Samsung's total accumulated capital in Việt Nam by the end of 2022 was about US$20 billion.

Along with research, development, production and business activities, Samsung continues to provide job opportunities for about 100,000 employees with competitive remuneration packages. — VNS
