Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam on December 27 signed an agreement to raise their exclusive bancassurance cooperation to a higher level that is commensurate with their potential and expectations.

They also affirmed they would continue to offer the best benefits to customers who buy Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's insurance products through Sacombank.

The two first signed an exclusive bancassurance partnership in September 2017. They have since provided high-class financial services to more than 540,000 customers who have paid a total premium of nearly VND6 trillion (US$262.67 million).

They settled nearly 1,300 claims worth VND100 billion ($4.38 million).

Sacombank has adopted technology for selling insurance on the Sacombank Pay app to improve the customer experience to reduce processing time and offer a range of convenient and safe payment methods for new policies as well as annual premiums.

The two companies have also implemented a number of meaningful community activities like gifting houses, funding water supply systems and giving away thousands of scholarships worth over VND3 billion to students all over the country.

Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam were honoured as the Most Trusted Bancassurance Provider Vietnam for 2021 by Finance Derivative, a financial and business analysis magazine published by the Netherlands’s FM.Publishing.
