HCM CITY — Following years of development under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health and enabling companies to carry out a programme called "For Public Health", Pharmedi Vietnam - Pharmed & Healthcare returns to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City's District 7 from September 21 to 26 this year.

This will be an important annual occasion, promising to provide domestic and international distributors, service providers, and sales agents operating in the health sector with the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences as well as develop their distribution channels.

Local pharmaceutical companies, besides responding to a campaign to persuade Vietnamese to use locally made drugs, will also get the opportunity to expand export markets through direct meetings with international exhibitors and buyers at the show.

This is also an opportunity for brands to improve their competitiveness and expand their export markets amid the country's deeper integration, especially the TPP.

This year, under the theme Technology for Life, high-quality medical equipment will be the focus of the expo.

Việt Nam, especially HCM City, has great demand for development of infrastructure systems and patient care services.

Pharmedi Vietnam - Pharmed & Healthcare 2016 will continue to be a reliable source for professionals to directly access a wide range of pharmaceuticals and modern medical equipment from manufacturers, importers and distributors.

The exhibition will also include many workshops, seminars and counselling on high-quality services with practical content updated by domestic and international experts.

A symposium on "Việt Nam and international high quality health services" will also be a highlight this year. — VNS
