Moca Technology and Services Corporation and Tiki Corporation have signed an agreement to expand cashless payment options and meet the rising demand for online shopping and digital payment, especially amid the COVID-19 restrictions.

They hope to fully leverage their technological capabilities, eco-system strengths and user bases for mutual benefit.

Through Moca’s first partnership with a major e-commerce platform, users of its e-wallet on Grab app can make online payments on Tiki and get more GrabRewards and Tiki Xu reward points for each purchase.

Moca and Grab are already partners, and the three plan to closely collaborate to offer incentives to users.

On the occasion of announcing the partnership, Moca and Tiki also launched a promotion programme with discounts of up to 50 per cent until July 31.

Nguyen Xuan Viet Binh, CEO of Moca, said: “The partnership with Tiki will help Moca offer users an additional online payment option on one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Vietnam today, and simultaneously enable Moca e-wallet to develop beyond the Grab eco-system.”

Moca has tied up with 26 banks including a digital bank. Its e-wallet users can use Moca to pay for transportation and food, grocery and other shopping on the Grab app, bill payments, phone top-up, payment at stores, and online shopping. — VNS
