Novaland Group has started construction of the Aqua Sports Complex at its smart eco-city, Aqua City, in the southern province of Dong Nai.

The company said it is meant to improve living standards for Aqua City’s residents by satisfying their needs related to exercising, well-being and entertainment.

The complex will be managed by CITIGYM, which runs fitness centres and organises sports tournaments.

Aqua is being developed on an area of more than 8,000 sqm with five floors with a bowling alley, spa, gym, pool, basketball court, badminton court, and others.

Inspired by the Temple of Athena Nike in Greece and designed in neoclassical style, it is expected to be open in 2023.

CITIGYM is a regular partner of Novaland Group at its projects.

Besides, Novaland is also rapidly building internal facilities and entering into deals with prestigious local and global partners to develop Aqua City into an outstanding place for living.

It recently partnered with Accor Group to manage the four-star hotel Novotel hotel.

Aqua City is a satellite project in the eastern part of HCM City on nearly 1,000ha of which more than 70 per cent is reserved for greenery, transport infrastructure and utilities. — VNS
