The American School (TAS International School) and the South Rach Chiec City LLC have signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of the school’s new campus in HCM City’s District 2.
To be built in Cat Lai Ward in District 2, the new campus will cost VND1.1 trillion (US$50 million) and be capable of accommodating up to 1,400 students with modern facilities including an NBA standard basketball court, a swimming pool, a football field and a 400-seat theatre.
TAS’s current elementary and middle-high school campus is situated on Nguyen Van Huong Street, Thao Dien Ward, District 2.
TAS is accredited to WASC, which is one of six regional associations that accredits public and private schools, colleges and universities in the US. — VNS
