The partnership agreement, signed on Friday between MK Group and InfraSen, establishes a comprehensive collaboration across a range of business activities.
The thermal imaging core sensor is researched and developed by InfraSen, a pioneering Vietnamese startup in the field.
This technology offers numerous potential applications in different sectors such as medical services, firefighting, rescue operations, manufacturing, national defense and civilian security.
MK Hi-tek’s investment will provide InfraSen with financial resources, skilled personnel and management expertise to accelerate the research, production and commercialisation of its products.
Nguyễn Trọng Khang, chairman of MK Group, expressed high regard and strong support for InfraSen's technology.
Khang said: “This is one of the advanced technologies researched and mastered by Vietnamese experts, with potential to drive major breakthroughs across various sectors

Nguyễn Trần Thuật, founder of InfraSen, believes the partnership will open doors to global markets for the core sensor.
Thuật said: “InfraSen is focusing its resources on developing a new generation of thermal imaging chips with great potential for reducing manufacturing costs, integrating new computing technologies on the chip and expanding into other critical frequency ranges.”
The investment decision is expected to enhance and expand production capacity to meet the growing demand in both domestic and international markets.
It also aims to strengthen brand positioning and access global markets, elevating 'Make in Việt Nam' products to the world, especially in high-demand markets for thermal imaging technology such as the United States, Europe and Japan. This expansion will create numerous job opportunities for skilled engineers, scientists and qualified professionals.
With its core technology and manufacturing capabilities, InfraSen aims to target markets for infrared cameras and thermal imaging in automobiles, smart buildings, civilian security and surveillance. — VNS
