Microsoft Vietnam gets new country chief

Microsoft on Friday announced the appointment of Pham The Truong as its new country general manager for Viet Nam.

He brings over 20 years of IT business experience and industry knowledge to drive the company’s mission in Viet Nam, the company said in a release.

Truong joins Microsoft from SAP Vietnam, where he served as country managing director since 2012. Earlier, he had been the country sales director for Oracle.

At Microsoft, he will be responsible for the company’s products, services and support offerings in Viet Nam.

He has a master’s degree in business management and information systems. — VNS
