Maxilite by Dulux has officially initiated the “Paint the Future” community campaign with a series of activities to innovate learning spaces for students in schools nationwide.
The campaign is scheduled to take place from the late July to the end of August at schools across the country. The colours used to repaint classrooms and school fences in this project are chosen from the “Vietnam Favorite Colour” collection designed by Maxilite by Dulux, including green tea hill, pink lotus, golden rice, and blue sea, along with others.
Golden rice, in particular, is to be used for canteen areas. According to the research, this colour has a positive impact on children's psyche, stimulating cheerful energy and excitement while repelling insects to maintain cleanliness and protect students’ health.
The campaign was started at Tân Thành Kindergarten, Long Thành, Đồng Nai Province.
"Maxilite by Dulux - Paint the Future" is a project under the framework of the Let’s Colour initiative and inspired by the "Paint the Future" programme announced by AkzoNobel recently, aiming to build a better world for everyone.
Nguyễn Phi Anh Đào, Marketing and Product Director of Southeast Asia and Việt Nam, said: “Among AkzoNobel’s community contribution initiatives, supporting education and nurturing the young generation is one of the core objectives. This repainting programme for schools is also a meaningful activity marking the 30th anniversary of the Maxilite by Dulux’s presence in Việt Nam. Through this programme, we hope to provide better learning and playing conditions for students, empowering them to shape the future.”
AkzoNobel has also organised the One AkzoNobel Community Day – an annual community initiative with employee participation. Accordingly, about 100 AkzoNobel employees join hands to repaint walls and fences, create murals, plant trees, and clean up the school.
Since 1994, Maxilite by Dulux has been serving Việt Nam with a product portfolio meeting the diverse needs of consumers, especially demand for periodic home painting at reasonable costs or projects with moderate budgets. — VNS
