The Viet Nam Cable Television Corporation on July 4 launched their VTVcab Marketing Support Centre which will help South Korean companies and enterprises bring high quality products to the country.

“Viet Nam has a lot of potential for South Korea with high growth and promising consumer and production markets. More than 160,000 South Koreans are living and working in Viet Nam and Vietnamese people are also interested in Korean products such as cosmetics, foods, homeware and music,” said Bui Huy Nam, general director of VTVcab.

“However, Korean enterprises are facing difficulties in marketing and accessing Viet Nam’s distribution channels, as well as fighting fake and poor-quality products. The centre (VTVcab MSC) has been established to help solve these problems.”

VTVcab MSC will provide comprehensive plans supporting them in import-export procedures, marketing, advertising and distributing activities online and offline, as well as organising music and performance events introducing Korean culture to local people.

It will also take part in co-organising conferences to promote international trade such as the Vietnam Business Export Conference in April in Seoul.

In the near future, the centre in cooperation with Phu Thai Group will open a supermarket chain which focuses on South Korean products. The first ones will be in Ha Noi and HCM City, and then in other big cities nationwide. — VNS
