Manulife Vietnam agent Nguyen Thi Van was named Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year at the 6th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2021 during a virtual ceremony held last week.

Van, area manager for HCM12 with Manulife Vietnam, said: “Being named the Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year is both a privilege and highlight of my career with Manulife Vietnam.

“As agents, it’s our job is to help protect people and ensure they understand the value of insurance. Manulife Vietnam has empowered me to help even more people by giving me the knowledge, digital tools and support needed to lead and succeed.”

Since joining Manulife Vietnam in 2018, Van has quickly risen up the ranks and demonstrated herself to be a high achiever and strong leader.

Organised by the Asia Advisers Network and Asia Insurance Review, the awards recognise the best of the best in life insurance agency and advisory across Asia. Sixteen winners from six markets were honoured at the Awards this year.

The Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year category celebrates agency leaders with under five years of managerial experience, who have demonstrated a high level of agency production and recruitment, strong leadership qualities, and commitment to professionalism and service to the industry.
