Hybrid artificial intelligence technologies are offering significant opportunities in the AI devices market, according to Nguyễn Văn Giáp, country manager of Lenovo Vietnam.

He was speaking at a Lenovo launch event for a new series of personal computers in HCM City on Wednesday.

He forecast that AI-powered computers would account for over 50 per cent of PCs by 2027, and that AI smartphones would drive a resurgence in the mobile market.

In alignment with this trend, Lenovo on Wednesday launched its latest AI-powered Yoga and IdeaPad devices.

They include Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, Lenovo Yoga Pro 7, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x, and Lenovo IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1.

The new launches include the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, Lenovo Yoga Pro 7, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x, and Lenovo IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, developed through a collaborative effort with Intel, is part of the premium Lenovo Aura Edition series.

It incorporates the latest AI technology and user-centric design to personalise PC computing to suit users’ individual needs.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 integrates performance and portability.

Powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor and equipped with up to 50 NPU TOPS with Copilot+ PC, it enables advanced multitasking and seamless creative workflows.

It exemplifies Lenovo's “AI for All” mission by improving user efficiency through AI-driven capabilities and intuitive experiences.

Lenovo has also rolled out the AI-powered IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 and IdeaPad Slim 5x, integral components of the Copilot+ PC lineup.

"By seamlessly integrating AI across our diverse product lines, we are making this transformative technology accessible to all customers in an ever-evolving digital world," Giáp said.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 and IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 are expected to be available in December 2024 at prices starting VNĐ40.9 million (US$1,600) and VNĐ25.99 million ($1,020) respectively.
