La Vie becomes main sponsor of Long An men’s volleyball team


La Vie has become the main sponsor of the Long An men's volleyball team, and from April 1, the team will change its name to La Vie Long An men's volleyball team.

La Vie, a member of Nestle Group, has become the main sponsor of the Long An men's volleyball team, and from April 1, the team will change its name to La Vie Long An men's volleyball team following an agreement signed between the company and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Long An Province.

Under the agreement, La Vie will sponsor a total of VND10 billion (US$443,000) in five years for developing the team, which now ranks seventh in Viet Nam.

The company hopes that the sponsorship will contribute to helping the team increase its ranking to place it in the top four teams in the National Volleyball Championship from 2022 onwards.

Nguyen Anh Dung, the department’s director, said Long An has a developed sports background and gained many achievements. However, in order to ensure the sustainable development and maintain the provincial teams’ high achievements in sports, the contribution of the business community in Long An, notably La Vie, plays an important role. — VNS
