Korean firm builds electronics factory

HA NOI (Biz Hub)— South Korea's Anam Electronics Company broke the ground for a new factory yesterday which will specialise in producing household electronics equipment in northern Ha Nam Province.

Anam Electronics Viet Nam will invest US$20 million in the factory, expecting it to go into operation in April 2014, producing electronic goods, household electronics and audio-visual equipment.

The company has set a target of producing 1.5 million products each year with total revenue of around $150 million, mainly from Europe and the US. — VNS
