Korean heavy industry group Doosan Viet Nam (Doosan Vina) – a high-tech industrial complex in the Dung Quat Economic Zone - has changed its name to Doosan Enerbility Vietnam (Doosan Vina).
The company said that the new name embodies the company's core business values and commitment to enriching people’s lives and making the earth a cleaner planet with friendly technologies.
The Doosan Enerbility Viet Nam board said it has changed to the new name to Doosan Enerbility.
"Enerbility" is a combination of ‘Energy’ and ‘Sustainability,’ expressing commitment and aspiration to enrich people's lives and making the earth a cleaner green planet with eco-friendly and sustainable energy technologies.
"The tastes and trends in global energy, as well as the changing business environment, force businesses to change, and we must diversify their product portfolio to survive and develop sustainably. The company name change is to better match our new business direction," Doosan Vina’s general director, Kim Hyo Tae said.
“In addition to constantly striving and innovating to meet the increasing requirements and bring satisfaction to customers based on the principles of ensuring safety and quality, Doosan Vina is in preparations to participate in the new and renewable energy markets such as offshore wind, hydrogen, and fuel cells.”
In addition to changing the name, it has removed the three coloured blocks from its logo, replacing them with the word Doosan in the 'endeavour blue' colour, carrying the message ‘Working hard on new things.'
Endeavour blue is believed to be a colour of initiative and positivity, of determination for a new world with positive thinking and a thirst for challenges, the company said.
These changes have created a new look and are a lever for brand development as well as the reputation and prestige of the Doosan Group, demonstrating the desire to strongly reach out in the international arena.
Doosan Vina received an investment licence in Viet Nam for the first time in 2006 and started its business operations in 2009, specialising in boilers for thermal power plants, port cranes, and desalination plants to turn seawater into freshwater, fired heaters, modules, and steel structures for petrochemical refineries, buildings, and infrastructure developments.— VNS
