Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japfa Vietnam), officially inaugurated its sixth feed mill in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon District, central Binh Dinh Province on Wednesday.

With an investment capital of VND300 billion (US$13 million), the high-tech mill aimed to supply high-quality animal feed for markets in the central region of Viet Nam.

Constructed on an area of seven hectares and equipped with an automatic production line from mixing raw materials to finished products, the feed mill can provide 180,000 tonnes of animal feed per year.

“With the mission of “Growing towards mutual prosperity”, Japfa Binh Dinh Feed Mill will offer more value to stakeholders, creating more jobs and giving more job opportunities for local people. We also expect to contribute more to the development and prosperity of Binh Dinh Province and Viet Nam,” said Japfa Vietnam general director Arif Widjaja.

“Along with other five mills in Vinh Phuc, Thai Binh, Hoa Binh, Long An and Binh Thuan provinces, the official operation of our sixth feed mill will facilitate the achievement of some key targets in both the short and long term, such as obtaining one million tonnes of feed in 2020, occupying approximately 5 per cent market share and keeping average growth of 12 per cent yearly,” added Widjaja.
