HSBC gets new international subsidiary banking head

HSBC Viet Nam has appointed Joonsuk Park as its new head of international subsidiary banking, wholesale banking.

He served as head of the multinational corporate department for the bank’s South Korea operations since 2014 after joining it in 2006 from KPMG.

His appointment is an indication HSBC Viet Nam seeks to support multinational companies, especially Korean, delivering financial services to those with production facilities in this country more efficiently.

HSBC is one of the largest foreign banks in Viet Nam with a network of 14 branches in HCM City, Ha Noi, Da Nang and Binh Duong.

It offers MNCs a broad range of financial services including corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, and market services. — VNS
