Harnn Heritage Spa named world's best new spa

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Harnn Heritage Spa at InterContinental® Danang Sun Peninsula Resort won the World's Best New Hotel Spa and Vietnam's Best Hotel Spa titles on September 14.

The awards were presented by the World Spa Awards, a new and dynamic awards programme for 2015, initiated by the 22nd World Travel Awards. It was set up in reaction to the overwhelming demand from the spa industry for a programme that is fair and transparent, is the definitive benchmark of excellence, and one that helps foster a new era of growth in spa tourism.

According to Sungroup, the investor of the InterContinental® Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, the awards are the most prestigious in the world spa systems, and are known as the "Oscars" of the global spa industry.

In the competition to become Viet Nam's best hotel spa, Harnn Heritage Spa defeated more than 11 other domestic spas such as Le Spa du Metropole Hanoi at the Metropole Hotel, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort Spa and JW Spa at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi.

Harnn Heritage Spa was chosen as the only representative from Viet Nam to compete for the World's Best New Hotel Spa title. Harnn Heritage Spa won that title too, beating rivals such as Guerlain Spa of Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, the Ritz-Carlton Spa - Kyoto, and Spa de La Mer hotel Baccarat & Residences, New York.
