Authorities in the northern province of Ha Nam have honoured FrieslandCampina, which owns the Dutch Lady dairy brand, for being one of the 15 leading enterprises with sustainable long-term investment and making great contributions to the province’s development this year.

The company has had a dairy factory in the province for more than 12 years, paid thousands of billions of đồng in taxes and indirectly and directly provided thousands of jobs.

It has co-ordinated with the province to develop a project for developing sustainable cow breeding areas with two farms now operating successfully. They serve as models for other farms in the province and ensure supply of quality fresh milk.

On December 10, provincial authorities met with the executives of outstanding enterprises. At the meeting, FrieslandCampina representatives thanked local authorities for their assistance.

FrieslandCampina was this year awarded the Emulation Flag for Outstanding Enterprise by the province People’s Committee. Last year, it had received the Labour Medal, second class, and was honoured for its accomplishments in environmental protection by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. — VNS
