Generali Vietnam has been awarded the prestigious “Saigon Times CSR” certification for four consecutive years for its outstanding CSR practices and community contributions.
This is the fifth year The Saigon Times organised the programme to recognise those businesses that have left a positive impact on the local communities.
Since 2020, Generali Vietnam has initiated a signature programme known as Sinh con-Sinh cha (Born children – Born parents) as part of The Human Safety Net, with an aim to improve parenting knowledge and skills, thus contributing to Vietnamese children’s early childhood development. “Sinh Con, Sinh Cha” successfully delivered useful parenting content on its digital channels attracting millions of views, interactions and positive comments from the community.
In September, Generali Vietnam in collaboration with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) inaugurated a kitchen for children in Xa Dung commune, Điện Biên Đông District, Điện Biên Province.
Also in September, Generali Vietnam started the construction of the Đồng Đờng branch school of Sơn Ca kindergarten in Mò Ó Commune, Đakrông District, Quảng Trị Province. The project uses fundraising from Generali Vietnam's “Sức khỏe trao Mình – Trường mới trao Em” campaign within the framework of The Human Safety Net's Global Challenge 2023.
Early this year, Generali Vietnam also delivered gifts to hundreds of pediatric patients and orphans of Tân Triều K Hospital in Hà Nội and Thiên Thần Shelter in Thủ Đức City, HCM City.
The “Saigon Times CSR” certification is a confirmation of Generali Vietnam commitment towards our stakeholders and the communities as a Lifetime Partner. This achievement is an additional incentive to develop a healthy, resilient and sustainable company. — VNS
