Central Retail Việt Nam has officially launched a new supermarket, Tops Market ParkCity, which is the ninth of its kind in Việt Nam and the fifth in Hà Nội, on January 11.
The supermarket is located at The Linc Commercial Centre in Hà Đông District.
It is the first new version of Tops Market supermarket in the northern region, offering fresh and diverse imported products with clear origins and focusing on excellent customer service to cater to new shopping trends.
With its modern design aimed at providing a convenient shopping experience for customers, the supermarket is expected to contribute to improving the quality of life for Vietnamese families while creating more jobs for locals.
“Becoming a trusted partner of consumers by providing the best quality local and imported products to every Vietnamese family is one of Tops Market supermarket chain’s missions," said Olivier Langlet, CEO of Central Retail Việt Nam.
“Tops Market ParkCity aims to fulfil all daily consumer shopping needs. We are thrilled to bring a wonderful shopping experience to the residents of Hà Đông and the neighbouring areas with the opening of Tops Market ParkCity,” he added.
Stretching across a 1,800sq.m shopping space, Tops Market ParkCity will provide over 14,000 products, including fresh local and imported groceries, daily freshly baked goods, delightful ready-to-eat meals, particularly high-quality sushi, and convenient on-site dining areas. Additionally, it will feature health care products, household essentials, and an exclusive assortment of imported goods from around the world.
Speaking at the Grand Opening of Tops Market ParkCity, Nikorndej Balankura, Ambassador of Thailand to Việt Nam, said that beside offering a wide range of local and imported products, Tops Market shares Central Retail’s sustainability initiative in promoting environmental protection awareness.
“One of the successful campaigns is the ‘Bring Your Own Shopping Bag’ initiative, which aims to reduce the use of plastic bags in Central Retail’s supermarkets, as well as further support Việt Nam’s green transition,” he said, adding that this kind of sustainability concept distinguishes Thai businesses from others and that Central Retail Việt Nam is an exceptional leader in this area.
This event signifies Central Retail's major endeavour to expand its modern retail network in emerging areas of the capital, serving the growing shopping demand of locals, particularly during the approaching Tết (Lunar New Year) holiday, said a representative of Hà Nội Industry and Trade Department.
