HA NOI– DongA Bank has received diplomas of merit from the Ha Noi People's Committee and the State Bank of Vietnam for its socio-economic contributions in the last 20 years.
The bank opened its branch in the capital in September 1993, and has since added 16 transaction offices.
The branch's deposits have been growing at an average rate of almost 29.5 per cent and credit at more than 32 per cent.
It has issued 426,000 ATM cards and nearly 300 companies pay their employees' salaries through the bank.
To mark the honour, employees of the branch donated 100 units of blood to the Central Hematology Institute and donated VND100 million to poor patients.—VNS
