HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam, Ltd. (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) has officially launched an advanced and comprehensive critical illness protection product that provides solutions for 88 major critical illnesses.
The new product, CI-88, has unique benefits and offers multiple advanced benefits and a wide range of protection for up to 88 critical illnesses, inclusive of 35 early critical illnesses and 53 late critical illnesses, hence providing an optimum financial solution for customers to have a chance of prompt treatment and recovery.
In particular, payment of insurance benefits up to 200 per cent of the sum insured is guaranteed for customers suffering from illnesses at all stages, thereby helping customers afford treatment costs and enjoy the most advanced treatment methods.
"Nowadays, thanks to the advancement of medical technology and treatment therapy, most of the critical illnesses could be detected right from the early stage, enabling many patients the opportunity to recover and return to normal life," Tran Dinh Quan, general director of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, said.
The immediate financial support right after diagnosis will help customers to instantaneously cope with unexpected risks of severe ailments, while being able to secure future plans of themselves and their families.
Apart from its flexible design with a broad participation age ranging from 1 to 60 years old, CI-88 can be combined with all main life insurance products for long-term protection up to 25 years. Customers have the opportunity towards protection from up to three illnesses, including two at the early stage and one at the late stage, and are entitled to increase the sum insured for enhanced protection benefits during the whole policy term.
For the first six months of 2016, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam continues to reach an impressive business performance with new premiums reaching VND878 billion (nearly US$40 million), increasing 67 per cent against the same period of 2015, and a total premium revenue of over VND2,082 billion ($94.5 million), growing 50 per cent more than that of last year.
