HA NOI (Biz Hub) — About 7,000 people are expected to visit the Beach-Leisure & MICE Travel Mart (BMTM Da Nang 2016) scheduled to take place from June 24 to 26 in the central coastal city of Da Nang.

At a news conference by the municipal People's Committee on Wednesday to introduce the event, a contest was declared for an initiative on sustainable tourism.

The BMTM Da Nang 2016, an international trade-tourism fair, boasts 172 booths featuring tourism and service products. The fair will offer a chance for travel and tourism agencies across the region to introduce their beach-leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) products.

In 2015, the city welcomed 4.68 million tourists, ranking it in fourth place in the number of tourists, behind only Ha Noi, HCM City and Quang Ninh.— VNS
