Construction giant Coteccons has reported impressive results for the first quarter of its financial year 2025 (July 1 to September 30), with revenues and post-tax profits jumping 15.4 per cent and 39.46 per cent year-on-year to VNĐ4.7 trillion (US$185.3 million) and VNĐ93 billion ($3.7 million), respectively.
The gross profit margin soared by 1.89 percentage points to 4.32 per cent, a result the company attributed to its focus on high-margin projects and operational efficiency over the last two years.
It won the bids to be the general contractor for the Thùy Vân Road renovation project in Vũng Tàu, which seeks to transform the city into an international high-quality tourism hub, and for several large-scale projects in civil, industrial and infrastructure construction, including by Sun Group, Ecopark Group, BWID, and VinFast.
The company was recognised as a Việt Nam National Brand in 2024 at a ceremony jointly held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Brand Council in Hà Nội on November 4.
