According to a Saigon Co.op spokesperson, Co.opmart and Co.op Xtra supermarkets nation-wide will continue to offer steep discounts this weekend, with some products sold to a mere VND2,000.
This is one of the highlights of a programme to celebrate Co.opmart’s 21st anniversary.
On Friday (April 21) 500g bottles of all kinds of Fruiser hand cleansing milk are sold at VND10,000 instead of the usual VND41,500; the price of a 4kg bottle of Net lemon-flavoured dishwashing liquid is reduced from VND80,000 to VND20,000; the price of a 950g bottle of Pantene anti-hair fall shampoo is reduced from VND145,000 to VND85,000; a 5kg pack of Tide detergent with Downy flavour is down to VND108,000 from VND192,000.
On Saturday (April 22) a 75g pack of 10 Omachi sour and chili shrimp-flavoured instant noodles will be priced at only VND2,000; two 380g cans of Nuti condensed creamer will be sold at just VND2,000; a 2 litre-bottle of Tuong An cooking oil will be reduced by VND37,000 to VND40,000.

On Sunday (April 23) two 40x60cm Diem Truc cotton pillows will have their prices slashed from VND178,000 to VND89,000; a set of Hometex drapes will see it price cut from VND665,000 to VND359,000; the price of a 1.25 litre Comet blender will be reduced from VND429,000 to VND239,000; a Tabi plastic cabinet will see its price reduced from VND1.049 million to VND669,000.
To buy at these products, shoppers need to meet certain bill conditions. Detailed information is available at the supermarket.
Under the "Buy more, Get Great Incentives" programme also organised at the same time at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets, customers can buy products like soft drinks, fish sauces, toilet cleaners, shampoos and others for just VND4,000-99,000.
These prices apply to the second, fourth, and sixth items of the same product on the same bill.
