HCM CITY(Biz Hub) – Retailers have launched promotions to attract customers during the long holiday break from April 30.

Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets are offering a buy-1-get-1-free deal and discounts of 50 per cent on thousands of items.

Sold under the former programme are chopsticks made from song ma wood, food wrap film, plastic containers, round glass boxes from Lock and Lock, versatile wipes and many others.

Infrared stoves, fast boil stainless steel electric kettles, and stainless steel pot sets are among the products on which they are offering a 50 per cent discount.

Other products like electric cookers, glass ovens, stainless steel electric kettles, electric barbecue grills, juicers, non-stick irons, Bluestar glass surface gas stove, Gali blender, and Namilux gas stove carry 28-47 per cent discounts.

Discounts of 15-20 per cent are on offer for bitter melon, white cabbage, American red apples, dragon fruit and others.

In addition, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra have also launched an incentive programme for loyal customers -- "Uu dai thanh vien- Gia tot moi ngay" (Member deals-Best rates every day) -- which offers discounts proportionate to the level of membership cards customers have.

Products such as Nutri Boost juice, AFC cake, Meizan cooking oil, Coca Cola, Vinacafe, Knorr seasoning, Sunlight dishwashing liquid, Co.opmart house cleaning kit, Hazeiline, Ariel liquid detergent will be sold at discounts to loyal customers with an additional 5 per cent for VIP members.
