From November 21, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket systems will test the US’s "Black Friday" concept for the first time by offering the strongest possible discounts on a series of essential products.
When it comes to "Black Friday," people immediately think of two things: super discounts and chaotic crowds.
In the third week of “the Month to Express Gratitude to Loyal Customers in 2017”, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket systems nationwide will offer maximum discounts on a wide-range of consumer goods for six consecutive days under a programme “Six enthusiastic shopping days”, which targets to create a jubilant shopping experience with high savings for customers.
Considered to be a unique shopping event, the first "Black Friday" themed “Six enthusiastic shopping days” at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra will be a pilot programme applied on more than 60,000 essential items from November 21 to 26 at all of its stores across the country.

Under the programme, the supermarkets will slash prices by half of many products, including powder detergents, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, body wash, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, stainless steel cookware, non-stick pans, men’s and women’s fashion clothes, gas stoves, floor cleansing mops, bed covers, blankets, underwear, toilet bleach, toothbrushes, Sapporo beer, dried beef, Pepsi, Kinh Do cakes and food storage containers.
In addition to Black Friday’s "Six enthusiastic shopping days" programme, customers, who shop at the supermarkets in the last week of the Month to Express Gratitude to Loyal Customers in 2017 (from November 20-26), will enjoy dual benefits because the supermarkets apply in parallel the “Black Friday” programme together with the programme that offers discounts of up to 50 per cent on 1,000 products and gives away from one to four iPhone 8 plus each day.
Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets earlier this month launched “The Month to Express Gratitude to Loyal Customers in 2017” with many promotion programmes between November 4 and 26. — VNS
