CBRE recently announced its acquisition of Singapore-based specialist sustainability consulting firm Paia Consulting, in a move aimed at boosting CBRE’s capacity to drive sustainability initiatives for clients globally.
The acquisition significantly increases resources and bolsters capabilities for CBRE’s sustainability services throughout the region.
Post the acquisition, professionals from Paia Consulting will merge with CBRE’s existing ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services team in Singapore, which serves as the central hub for CBRE’s sustainability services across the APAC region.
Hằng, the managing director of CBRE Vietnam, said: "With the introduction of Paia’s capabilities, CBRE will be at the forefront of ESG advisory across Asia Pacific including Việt Nam. This collaboration presents a significant opportunity to become a comprehensive service provider for clients. CBRE professionals will be partnering with clients on reporting, training, compliance, benchmarking, developing, and executing ESG plans.”
David Fogarty, who has been at the helm of CBRE’s ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services in Asia since 2022, will head the newly expanded team. This unified team will deliver an enhanced range of solutions, services, and training programs tailored for clients spanning diverse industries and sectors.
Established in 2002, Paia Consulting specialises in delivering sustainability strategy, implementation, and reporting services to clients in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. The firm has collaborated with over 100 companies listed on the Singapore exchange.
Carrie Johnson, the founder of Paia Consulting, will serve as the lead consultant, while Corrado Forcellati, who assumed the role of Managing Director at Paia Consulting in 2021, has been appointed as the Director of Client Sustainability Strategy & Solutions within the integrated entity. — VNS
