HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Binh Phu Company announced its largest ever order to supply US$1.2 million worth of in-room furniture to Central Group, owner of Bangkok's forthcoming six-star Park Hyatt Hotel, on Monday.
The company will supply Vietnamese-made desks, sofas, mirrors, TV cabinets and chairs from its factory in the southern province of Binh Duong. Shipments will start in early July, ahead of the hotel's opening late this year.
"This deal reflects our desire to continue to work with partners in Viet Nam - to showcase their products and develop their businesses, both locally and around the world - with our network of businesses in Thailand and around the globe," said Central Group spokesperson Jariya Chirathivat.
Binh Phu is now one of Viet Nam's leading providers of high end luxury furniture. The company has previously shipped its products to places as far-flung as Dubai, Maryland, Rome and Melbourne. The Central Group deal for the Bangkok Park Hyatt is another feather in its cap for this local business. — VNS
