BEST Express starts operating $5.5m sorting centre in Bac Ninh

BEST Inc started operation of an automatic goods sorting centre in Bac Ninh last week, which is its largest sorting centre in Southeast Asia thus far.

With a total capacity of more than one million packages per day, Bac Ninh Sorting Centre will increase the handling efficiency of express delivery services.

Bac Ninh’s sorting centre started construction in July 2021 and was completed in October 2021, with a total investment capital of US$5.5 million. It was built on an area of ​​more than 45,000sq.m, with factory area of 22,000sq.m, in Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Park, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province.

After being put into operation, the centre will create a stable source of jobs for more than 400 local workers and play an important role in shortening delivery and handling time of the courier service of BEST Express nationwide and in the north.

The sorting centre consists of two main parts, which are the area to receive packages and the classification and delivery area.
