Global renewable energy developer, service provider and distributor BayWa r.e. has brought new products to the Vietnamese market like solar PV, inverters and others.

The company has also started providing tailor-made energy solutions for commercial and industrial businesses, both on-site and off-site.

“It is an excellent time to be ramping up our presence in the country and provide local services to the market,” general manager Bryse Gaboury said.

“Viet Nam has taken the lead in the renewable energy sector in Southeast Asia, and the demand for electricity is projected to continue to grow by 8 per cent every year between now and 2030.”

More than 6.7GW of rooftop solar was installed across the country in December last year alone, taking the total capacity over the year to 16.56GW.

“We are looking forward to supporting the Government, our corporate customers, organisations, and individuals in their renewable energy goals, and hope to continue to grow our presence in the country,” Bryse added.

The company said with an 11-strong team, an office and a distribution warehouse in HCM City, it could now offer comprehensive distribution services to installers.

It would also be offering turnkey solutions for companies interested in installing their own rooftop solar or securing renewable energy through the use of Power Purchase Agreements.

The company is active in developing large-scale solar and wind energy in Viet Nam.
