CapitaLand’s wholly owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), one of the leading international lodging owner-operators, has received The Ascott Cares x Bureau Veritas Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label at nine of its properties in Viet Nam.
The Ascott Cares x Bureau Veritas Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label is a holistic programme developed in partnership with Ascott by leveraging Bureau Veritas’ health, hygiene and safety expertise of more than 190 years in providing testing, inspection and certification.
The programme, as part of Ascott Cares commitment, will continue providing "a safe home away from home" for guests and a safe working environment for local staff.
Launched in May 2020, Ascott Cares covers nine commitments to enhance Ascott’s existing cleanliness protocols.
Bureau Veritas’ auditors have conducted field audits at the nine properties and verified that the properties have appropriate health, hygiene and safety procedures and processes in place, and are in line with globally recognised best practices on preventive measures in order to be certified with the Ascott Cares x Bureau Veritas Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label.
