Ampalavanar is Nestle Viet Nam's new country manager

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Ganesan Ampalavanar will be Nestle's country manager in Viet Nam from February 1, the Nestle Corporation announced on January 30.

Ampalavanar, who has been working for Nestle for more than 20 years across the globe, has been the corporation's country manager in Sri Lanka since 2013. In Sri Lanka, he demonstrated his extensive commercial experience and leadership capabilities in delivering improved business results and working effectively with all stakeholders.

Nestle said that the experience he gained in his previous assignments will help him in his new role in Viet Nam.

Nestle is a leading nutrition, health and wellness corporation that has experience of more than 150 years. The corporation has more than 500 factories and 339,000 employees around the world.

In Viet Nam, Nestle has five factories and 2,000 employees, with familiar brands including Nescafe, Nestle Milo, Maggi and Nan, besides Lactogen, Cerelac and Lavie. — VNS
