The American International Hospital (AIH) on October 2 announced a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Singapore Raffles Medical Group to promote the development of high-quality health care for patients.
Under the terms of the agreement effective from October, RMG becomes a strategic partner in the administration and operation of AIH with the goal of enhancing customer experience and optimising the operation of some specialties such as oncology and general surgery.
Established in 1976, RMG is one of the leading integrated private healthcare providers in the region, with three tertiary hospitals and over 100 multidisciplinary clinics.
It pledges to set and practise high standards through an effective quality management system to assure that its services meet and exceed the expected requirements of its clients and patients.
Dr. Loo Choon Yong, executive chairman of RMG, said the management of AIH, in a few short years, has completed important milestones including building up a strong positive reputation for its services and attaining JCI accreditation.
Coupled with three ambulatory care facilities in Vietnam and facilities in the region, RMG is committed to offer a unique regional proposition: the Raffles and AIH brands of care and hospital services to meet patients’ diverse needs and preferences.
“The AIH hospital management service contract positions RMG well and supports our ambition to be the healthcare providers of choice for people in the region,” he said.
Nguyen Thi My Linh, chief executive officer of AIH, said having a strategic partnership with the leading medical group in Asia such as RMG is an honour for the hospital.
“Through this partnership, AIH will have an experienced international partner to help us increase competitiveness in the provision of high-quality healthcare services in Vietnam,” she said.
Operating since 2018, AIH has become a prestigious healthcare provider for the Vietnamese community in the last five years.
The hospital is one of the pioneers in Vietnam, following both JCI and American standards in design and construction, diagnosis and treatment, and operation and management.
It commits to bringing comprehensive American standard healthcare services to patients and families in the country.
Located in Thu Duc City, it provides healthcare services in many specialties including five leading edge ones: OBGYN, pediatrics, general surgery, urology and andrology, and gastroenterology and hepatology. — VNS
